Pretty sure dentistry is 90% fraud anyway
You don't have to listen to what the dentist says, but you should still get cleanings from a hygienist. You will never be able to clean as well as they can.

"Gacha" as the root word is those little dispensers in the mall where you put a quarter in and turn the handle and it gives you a little capsule with a toy in it.

Re: It's Videogames

The one thing I dislike is the loot. It's incredibly "gamey", in the sense that you're basically never surprised by anything you find. Hey a tier 2 chest, that's gonna have some tier 2 XP books and maybe some basic crafting materials and a 2-star weapon or two. Opening a chest should be exciting, b...

The Manifold Garden Connectivity Map (MGCM) png is 280 mb I probably shouldn't upload that to the message board, huh The image is some 80 rectangles connected by lines like a flowchart, and each rectangle is a full-size screen shot, making the entire image some 340 inches wide. But I reduced it to ...

Re: The Motion Picture Arts Thread

The main problem I see with the show is that it's not possible for anything good to happen. House of Cards is the best example of this. First seasons of HoC - Frank overcomes his obstacles and he gains new problems as he tries to increase his power. Later seasons of HoC - Frank becomes a punching ba...

Facebook is the only site I still get ads on and I found it humorous that the only two political ads I've seen this year are:
Democrats: Republicans are giving tax breaks to the rich and hurting middle America
Republicans: Trump brought back college football

Re: POLITICS MOTHERFUCKER

The problem with Cuties is that it's a cautionary tale about not exploiting children and letting them actually be children, but in order to tell that tale they had to exploit children. If only there was a way to imply what was happening instead of showing it for multiple 5-minute segments throughou...

Mainly the lack of settings like changing FOV or being able to customize controls, having to do that weird thing where you hold "Alt" to get the cursor to appear so you can "Tap" things, etc. The gameplay itself isn't too affected by it.

Re: It's Videogames

It seems really good for a mobile game, but you can definitely tell it's a mobile game on PC. It actually has stuff to do other than beating simple shrines for more hearts, which is a plus. The one thing I hate about gacha games is the thing that all of them do where 3* items can only level up to 30...

There's an achievement in spelunky 2 for beating the game in under 10 minutes, so maybe it's not super crazy. Spelunky 2 has a lot of bs which I'm sure the first one had but it's been so long I don't really remember it. The thing I got pissed about last night was I needed a difficult and specific th...
