that's definitely supposed to be left to right because of the bottom panel but the dialogue order on the top panel feels wrong

On my first reading I assumed that the hot drink would make the character need to pee, which they would then have in common.

I now see what I missed.

It's some YouTubers who make videos saying that Marvel Comics (not the movies) embarked on a deliberate effort to sideline as many traditional superheroes as possible in favor of making Thor a girl, making Iron Man a girl, and so on and so forth

It's a giant shit flinging fight, where if aren't totally knowledgable about the minutiae of their fight, you're one the bad guys®

Here's the sum of my understanding picked up from context:
A) There's some kickstarter comic that people are #verymad about, but is getting lots of backers
B) Comics ParaLegend (like, major figure, but not a great, I dunno. 2-3 time "All Star" instead of Hall of Famer) Mark Waid strong armed a distributor into not carrying said comic
C) Some major DC artist sent someone pictures of their asshole

Not knowing and not caring about kickstarter comic books, I'm not going to spend my time investigating independent comics, their creators, etc. etc. What I can say is that C is gross, but B is significantly grosser (numbering changed to avoid poop joke).

It's a big turn-off, and was a factor in me choosing to buy a new mystery today instead of looking at what new graphic novels are out. I just don't want to deal with that shit. Hard pass.

No the Kickstarter thing is derivative of Comicsgate, not Comicsgate itself

No worries friend (you can see my edit above as well), I definitely appreciate what you're trying to do.

I'm just giving you an external perspective. I think we underestimate the number of people that are willing to take their ball (in this case, disposable income) and go home. Not because they are "Pro" or "Con" whatever, but just because the narrative is annoying.
