I changed Sleeperbot again, and redid round three. And I got an unexpected result.
Sleeper Lethargied until everyone was out, and then saw that Cthulhu was adjacent, and so wanted to attack. "But I don't have enough dice," he says, so he gets out a formless spawn.
He then does this two more times. Then he says, well now I don't have enough power. Might as well build a gate. So now Sleeper's formless spawns are rolling four dice. I'm actually not unhappy with this turn of events
Bubastis meanwhile doesn't have enough power to ritual. That's going to be a challenge

Sleeper's still losing but, although this may be hard to explain, I feel much better about the way he's losing. He got bad dice against Cthulhu, lost Tsathoggua, but then looped him back. Burrowing would have made the attacks cheaper, so I may need to have Sleeper strategically pay 3 to get Burrowing, especially if it's going to save 3+ power immediately!

Cats successfully slow down the Cthulhu train. Which is what they have to do, right? Cats cannot really accelerate their victory, the way someone else might by having five gates or six. Cats can't do that. So they have to make sure that no one wins faster than them. Look what they did to Cthulhu

I'm actually stopping this one in the middle of round six. Cats managed to yoink almost every Cthulhu cultist to the Moon, and then went to the Moon. Cthulhu can't Move there. He could Submerge, but that would take two turns, and besides this doesn't solve the problem for anybody else. And if Cthulhu Moves the cultists off the Moon, this gives Cats 5 power, and then Bastet follows the cultists down to get ready to Catnap them again (as seen here).
So Cats are now OP, and every other faction needs a protocol to deal with Cats and attack them on general principle.
Also, Sleeper needs a protocol to obtain Burrowing when everyone else is out of power and Tsathoggua is going to go on a rampage

New game. Round three was pretty incredible. Cats had moved a flood of units to the South Pacific, but Cthulhu drives them out and earns spellbooks. Cats then try to get at least one cat back onto the map in the Arctic at Cthulhu's gate. But Tsathoggua then says, oh I can get my combat spellbook, take away a Cthulhu gate, and kill the last cat not on the Moon, all right here? Yes please
So it's really even and working out well. The Sleeper "Take Burrowing if everyone is out" thing is important, because it's a net savings that same round

Another incredible round. Bastet tries to move in on Cthulhu in the South Pacific, but Cthulhu moves his GOO back and there's a tremendous battle. Bastet is exactly saved by her own ability to prevent 1 kill. Sleeper then takes advantage, taking the South Pacific and then driving Cthulhu out of the North Pacific while losing a formless spawn.

This round was less interesting -- Cats made an invasion against Sleeper and were repulsed. The second invasion stuck, but it doesn't mean much. Now that the other factions are so much more interested in killing cats, Cats will have to have the priority toward mere doom points raised, by allowing for Cats to try to make an exclave that doesn't bother anyone
Anyway, calling it for Sleeper here. Sleeper is fixed, I think

I had posted this game, but I just redid round two after tweaking Black Goat's priorities. She needs to focus on Red Sign protocols before worrying about attacking Cats, because her early game involves sacking so many acolytes. So now she has an extra acolyte and an extra ghoul, and didn't attack Cats

What an incredible and violent round. Cats get out Bastet, and then are looking to get cats killed, and so attack Black Goat and succeed in that. Black Goat has to retreat, but goes out to the Indian Ocean (Black Goat has a protocol to spread out during retreats instead of consolidate, so as to get spellbooks). BG then makes a gate in the ocean, but then here comes Cthulhu. Cthulhu actually loses a bunch of cultists in the attack, and BG does OK, retreating back to her start space. But then Cthulhu comes in again, taking the Indian Ocean gate. Cthulhu did not actually manage to get two kills in one battle this round and so will have to go out attacking some more.

Cthulhu needs kills, and wages a big battle against Shub, causing mutual destruction. But Cthulhu can come back for just 4. Cats also get attacked and lose some, but then go to work setting up an exclave for doom purposes.

Black Goat and Cats are tied, but Those Darn Cats have the spellbooks. The land war in Asia was to end all wars -- Black Goat had marched in with Shub and backup, and mewling cats were sent flying. But red probably wants to throttle blue, because blue moved a few units off the Moon, resurrecting Cats and letting them get a stranded Bastet onto a gate.

Yellow tries to swing into Africa, but Black Goat uses Avatar to put Shub back in and chases the King into the North Atlantic. Blue then chases the King again, into the Arctic. The King regroups and enters the North Pacific, stealing CC's gate. BG just powers up.

Shub takes out the King in Yellow. Yellow Sign forgoes trying to get back the King as all but impossible, and starts playing normally, winning 31 to 30. Crawling Chaos is never in it, having lost a gate to Yellow Sign just after building it, and then building another. CC probably needs a revenge mechanism
For now, we will just reduce CC's midrange strat so that he doesn't midrange after he has the four-gate spellbook
