particularly when like, you've been outmaneuvered on the board--if your opponent has set up a solid defense against where you currently are, well, it doesn't really matter because you can just come in from another side if you want. It removes a lot of positioning and makes the game much more about just maximizing the efficiency of your declines in a game that was already mostly about maximizing efficiency.

Bring on the kung-fu amputees - no arms vs. no legs anyone? A bit of high-speed underground ninja-tunneling is always good as well. I wanna see some shit like that. Crazy monks with gnarly special powers can make any film good. FACT.

I just read my favorite rule in any board game

"Cities whose names are printed in CAPITALS are capitals"
It's your turn in Cthulhu Wars
It's your turn in Squirrel Wars
It's your turn in Demon Wars
It's your turn in Wall Street Wars

Have Mage Knight Ultimate Edition coming in

Arytha using ranged attacks was feeling a bit too powerful, looking forward to evasive/magic immune enemies that are harder to just snipe down

I ran a Mage Knight game on GG! I think it was a lot of fun, although the amount of work involved was kinda unreal.

With GMT, it always seems like the farther back the game is about, the more complicated it is. Imperial Struggle is like five times as complicated as Twilight Struggle

yeah I loved that movie, one of the last movies I saw in theatres back before

I have not played Murder She Wrote though so this analogy is totally lost on me

e: oh duh you're talking about the books, I understand how analogies work
e2: I was confused because I read that as "betrayal at the house on the hill", the boardgame
