Re: netrunner
there's also
these are the "what happened to the genesis runners" cards whereas the former was "callback to core set runner" cards, but andy is in both because they kept gabe (the criminal core set runner) around by putting him in the equivalent of a core set

i wonder if they're going to go faster than ~1.3 years between sets going forward

interesting. not sure whether this (and light the fire) are going to be cool counterbalances to otherwise OP defensive upgrades or more frustrating silver-bullet-y things. at least this one also works against assets. Plop is the obvious comparison

I am extremely unastonished that the argument quoted was from a person who a) did not have the condition in question, and b) was advocating for the presumed feelings of a hypothetical person with that conditionAs one community member wrote, “What’s it going to feel like, sitting there playing a card game, listening to players all around happily receiving your disability (described in somewhat derogatory terms)? Talking through their turns in excited loud voices, or arguing about the rules around how much of your disability they have? Doing post-game analysis of whether taking a lot of your disability hurt their chances of winning?”
Re: netrunner
i'm not sure how to evaluate sabotage. it's a punisher mechanic, but 4 is a big-ish number, and R&D trashes are pretty close to R&D accesses. and sabotage gets better the more you can stack it. if nothing else i think it's a cleanly designed mechanic
Brain Cage console. i doubt this will see play; you basically need an anarch deck that really wants plus max hand size and doesn't mind it being your console slot
i don't think that's an exciting enough effect where you want to play this over good runners. though again it depends on the support cards they print; if there are amazing ones and there's a deck like the old Titanium Ribs or something then obv this is the runner you're doing it out of

All Sabotaged cards are trashed face down, right?

Cyberdex Sandbox banned - hell yes
High-Profile Target banned - sure, it's a very dumb card
Kakugo banned - yay
Shipment from Tennin banned - this seems like a card that never really needed to be banned, especially with PU already banned, but idk maybe there's some good reason
Jinteki: Personal Evolution unbanned - great; it was dumb to ban this in the first place
Fairchild 3.0 unbanned - boo but also w/e
i still wish that they would move their policy away from trying to play god with the meta

something about her face creeps me out
neither of these seem particularly strong to me. the runner likes "run all 3 centrals" stuff. seems hard to imagine playing her over steve
the console i think is more exciting: run archives to breach HQ is nice. probably still not great because 4 is a lot and the randomness of mark is limiting, but maybe if there are cards that make it a big deal to get into HQ
i love cards like this. dunno if it's good (compare Multithreader) but it's definitely sexy

Re: netrunner
definitely playable, though clip breaking it for 2 make it less attractive
interesting. offworld office is obnoxious, but part of that is that it's neutral, and runner -7 doesn't let you tempo-tempo-tempo-i-win in the same way that corp +7 does. though this being NBN it's still super good because HHN. offshoring-credits gameplay is fun

hey it's like Noise but different, and IHW (which is going to rotate) but different

Re: netrunner
hey it's strictly better modded
(well except 1 more influence i guess, but modded wasn't a card you played out of faction anyway)
i've always liked modded, so this seems cool
* feels like non-icebreaker icebreaking solutions (Boomerang, Botulus, now Endurance) is how they're trying to fix the "ice is bullshit strong" problem; i guess that could work
* obv they're going to add more cards with power counts, but here are the existing ones. not a lot that's exciting there at the moment - pretty much just EH (TTW is rotating). though also obv if you're playing Padma then Endurance is going to be the thing you're most excited about charging
* 8 is a lot and probably too slow for the zoomy corps, but it's not obviously prima facie competitively unplayable like most big-riggy cards have been

Re: netrunner
corp pawnshop! also it's like a not-embarrassingly-weak Security Subcontract
0 rez 4 trash and not unique; ugh pushed assets : [
wow. i'm surprised that this isn't completely broken somehow; has the feel of a card that ends up banned. every time you trash something you get to tutor and install and rez something?? e.g. Border Control gets you a free 3-cost anything.
not much to say about tag punishment cards. the reward doesn't seem like the sort of thing you would spend tag-punishment-card slots on
no! no!!! no!!!!!!!!! corp ids that punish running are miserable! why?!?!?!?
at least it only lets you advance advanceable cards. maybe it's not so bad but man i hate ids that punish the runner for running (see also: Mti, GameNet)
hey it's a not-shit Matrix Analyzer. making reasonable-power-level versions of old shit-power-level cards is a fertile space - FFG made a ton of shit-power-level cards
Daily Quest seems better. the only thing this does better is letting you bluff it as an agenda. but if you IAA and they don't run then it takes 4.5 turns for it to give you the same payoff as NGO. I guess another thing it does is you can charge it to hell and make lots of money but there's no way that's worth doing compared to just playing DQ
actually the biggest thing is 1 rez + 4 trash means it can be a target for things like the previous 2 cards without needing to be iced

Re: netrunner
looking at existing cards that do things with that new weyland id
Azef Protocol, Border Control, Drudge Work, Urban Renewal
what about out of faction
Bass, AAL is rotating, MCA, i think Nico Campaign but not with Marilyn Campaign if you shuffle it back?, Regolith maybe, Calibration Testing(!), CVS is rotating,
probably some non-asset/upgrade cards too
maybe it's not broken just because there aren't enough enablers at the moment?

easy mark + better decoy; seems like a playable utility card
my first thought was this is a much worse Crick, but really it's a better Neural Katana. probably not competitively relevant

sort of like NEXT ice. they like de-rezzing effects
the campaign is basically Eve Campaign
the agenda is a nifty design, i hope it doesn't end up being annoying in the zoom-zoom-i-win that other recent HB cards have been
