don't murder literally everyone, which we can extrapolate to, don't have literally everyone be dead

I mean, can we though? What if the bad part of killing literally everyone is just effo and not the end result

Nonexistence is obviously neither good nor bad, it is a null state.

Therefore, returning people to the state of nonexistence from whence they came is only a negative act if they are bringing positivity to the world, which you thereby deny. For people who are more negative, murdering them obviously acts to cancel out the negativity, returning them to a (relatively more positive) neutral state.

In conclusion, make sure to ask people how they are doing first, and only murder them if they are sad or angry.

Murdering literally everyone isn't better or worse than murdering literally no-one, nor is it the same. The null state isn't a 0 on the good-bad number line, it's incomparable

Murdeirng any number of people greater than zero and less than literally everyone is bad though, it makes unmurdered people sad. It's valid to recommend against trying to murder literally everyone, the failure modes are both very likely and also very bad

You're only saying that because you exist, though. Preferring people who are similar to you (on the existence-nonexistence axis, in this case) is pretty problematic IMO.

too bad, people who don't exist should take responsibility for once and pull themselves into our reality by their bootstraps

For Christmas in 2019, my boss gave me a board game calendar as a secret Santa gift. It has a picture of a different board game for each month.

In March of 2020, we left the office and started working from home. Today is the first day I've been back in the office to work in 14 months.

The calendar is still on the March 2020 page from 14 months ago

The board game pictured is Pandemic

I recently completed a big translation project which was about teaching kids how to use the internet responsibly. One of the lessons was trying to teach them about anonymity and how it can be good and bad, except it chose to use the concept of a mask as metaphor. And it's full of questions like "What are some of the reasons people might want to wear masks? They probably have something to hide, right?"

Left the client a lot of feedback on that one

I've got a friend who I was roommates with for years, then I got married and he'd just come hang out with us all day like he lived with us for a few years after that, then he moved to Seattle and I moved the other direction and he didn't have a car so we haven't seen each other in over a decade

He hit me up the other day saying hey, I have a car now, I could come hang out again. Cool. I kind of love that I have friendships that just pick up randomly whenever they left off, I've had other friendships work this way and it's kind of rad

But then I'm like oh, I assume that means you're vaccinated, if you just recently got your second dose we'll have to wait until you're two weeks post

He says oh, I guess that's gonna be a problem, because I don't plan to ever get vaccinated. Aahahhhdjjjfff
