next time i think i will try to put more stuff like carrots and potatoes
i simmered it ("let it simmer"?) for 8 hours so that i could eat the chicken bones

you simmered the whole soup for that long? normally i just simmer whats leftover of the carcass with some veggies to make stock, and then discard the ultrasoft veggies/chicken parts

At best what you have there is a broth. Add some celery, carrots, maybe some noodles or lentils and you're closer to a soup. You might also try throwing a piece of Parmesan rind in the soup as well.

EDIT: And I'm sorry if I came off negative at all. If you're starting to do some exploratory cooking for the first time, I highly encourage it. Cooking can be a lot of tasty fun.

The first soup is the most important soup.

I'm not a chicken soup purist at all, any leftover veggies from the week? GET IN THERE

1: roux
2: immersion blender

I just tried Magic Spoon's peanut butter cereal

This is a low-carb gluten-free wheat-free cereal. Low-carb was the only part I cared about, I don't have a gluten problem

First let me say that it's better than Fiber One lol

What did it taste like? Well. Imagine Cap'n Crunch Peanut Butter cereal, which is one of the greatest cereals ever. Now take the flavor of that, but dial it down, so that it's less flavorful. I don't mean this in some kind of good way -- it really is "Cap'n Crunch Peanut Butter except not as good." But then what did I expect from a low-carb cereal.

Verdict is it's pretty good but obviously not as good as actual sugar lol

Try Catalina Crunch.

You can get it at Target and it is pretty good. I particularly like their Cinnamon Toast flavor.

Fair warning, it does not taste sugary. But it does taste good. If you are used to like stuff like Honey Nut Cheerios, I have found it to be an acceptable alternative. I usually eat it with Almond milk that has a splash of cream in it, which helps to cut down on the carbs.
