the smallbox moving picture with sound thread (telly vision)

Probably what *this* should be called.

I think every sci-fi show, if it runs long enough, does one. Agents of Shield did, TNG did 3 or 3, Voyager did one, Buffy, Dr. Who, Fringe, X-Files, etc.

I think it must be in the writer's guide.

Hawkeye is pretty mediocre but the third episode had a really impressive action sequence

I posted this at the other board, but watch Yellowjackets! So much fun. It does a great job of pulling the tone between black comedy & supernatural horror.

Now that Hawkeye is over

Man did it suck. The very worst MCU thing that there is, just incredibly mediocre

We usually watch all the Marvel stuff but we didn't even look. Sorry, Clint.

Oh yeah we've been watching The Wheel of Time and it's surprisingly good! I do think it's a little distracting how diverse the cast is. Like, I get that inclusion and representation are important but so is world building and it would have been weird if half the Hobbits in LOTR had been black, you know? Probably I am just old and problematic.

Somehow I'm too dumb to use tv tropes?

Can someone smarter than me find the trope for "Villain trains attack animal, attack animal turns on villain?"

Thank you

I did find that one, but it's more about an abused underling pouncing immediately when the opportunity presents itself rather than the "WHY DID YOU THINK CERBERUS WOULDN'T EAT YOU, YOU BIG IDIOT"

And now I'm too pedantic for TV Tropes, this hasn't been a good showing for your pal juice

there's a gritty reboot of fresh prince of bel-air coming out next month?
that's the trailer for the show, i guess the origin of this is that in 2019 there was a fan-made fake trailer for this concept that got will smith's attention and they ran with it

Out is a strong term. Sounds like he’s trying to get more money.

Was the last reboot good? I do love the original series but I don't feel like it needs to continue on. I think I watched the movies and they were fine.

It had a wider range of quality, with some of the very best episodes and also some of the ho-hum ones

The one with the time machine that only goes forward is a masterpiece

i watched a couple episodes of the reboot and literally every joke was infact not a joke and was instead just a reference to a past futurama joke
