Bring on the kung-fu amputees - no arms vs. no legs anyone? A bit of high-speed underground ninja-tunneling is always good as well. I wanna see some shit like that. Crazy monks with gnarly special powers can make any film good. FACT.

So this is an idol group I found out about through anime but the music they sing over is so damn good it literally works as instrumentals

bands taking to youtube /doing things live / wherever they're doing things, like, say, madeon doing entire dj sets, or this, is pretty neat:

this song is special because it's an original that is utterly dwarfed by the cover version and she's dead so you can't really criticise it but i prefer this one

the comments on that video are all people saying "i didn't know this was a cover!" and if you google the world "valerie" on an incognito tab the top result is "song by amy winehouse and mark ronson"

Ok I have been searching for a song. I think it's this era/genre. I'm going to type a bunch of words describing the song but I've been unsuccessful using them in Google so any or all of this might be imaginary.

It starts with clacking sticks/some sort of percussive in a tight pattern before a piano starts hammering mostly the same low note. "Well how do you do // You're so hard to (find?) // Well IIIIIIIIII know which waaay to run and (hide/go??)" and then the piano kicks in again here, three hammered low notes into some flourish, then back to the BOM-BOM-BOM. Then the other part I can think of is some harmonized "oooooh oooooh oooh" over quiet breaks, maybe framed by the clacking sticks? I keep typing words and I don't think I'm making it better!
