Bring on the kung-fu amputees - no arms vs. no legs anyone? A bit of high-speed underground ninja-tunneling is always good as well. I wanna see some shit like that. Crazy monks with gnarly special powers can make any film good. FACT.

I'm moving through the Sanderson ones right now and I'm liking them a lot. Much more fun, like it was before Jordan made Rand grimdark as hell.Dantes wrote:Wheel. Of. Time.

I had to to run home, and on the way Dr. Feelgood came on.
When I was a kid, I loved that song. In my 20's and 30's I thought it was absolutely ridiculous. Then I heard a cover of it by The Mavericks from a Nashville tribute to Motley Crue album. It's a totally different take on Feelgood. You can actually hear the story the song is telling, and you realize that the song is actually pretty good! It's just that Motley Crue's version is absolutely as ridiculous as you remember.

Re: snob music thread
you listened to hip hop indie rock in july? what?
Re: snob music thread
Agreed until the chorus hit, then it was sooo bland. Needs Crew pomp to make it listenable, & then you're back to the original problem :/Dantes wrote:I had to to run home, and on the way Dr. Feelgood came on.

So my best mates Liam & Tanya gave me a record player as a housewarming present (vinyl unlocked! *dusts off 1st pressing Are You Experienced* ) & it has become clear that my 10 year-old Bose computer speakers aren't cutting the mustard any more. Anyone savvy to recommend amplifier/speaker props?
