So apparently this "My girlfriend is a gal" is really popular, I kind of like "t's Not Meguro-san's First Time" a lot more.

Isn't that the hat the hospital uses to gently inform people you've passed? Is that commonly used as a maker for ghosts?

Juice's ranking of Detective Mangas

1) Q.E.D.
HNNNNNNNG.
I was moved to tears by a story about the Reimann hypothesis.
Also, it has by far the best take on the female assistant.
Spoiler!
SORRY KAY!
Image
2) C.M.B.
Really, really good, but I'm a Mathematician, not an anthropologist....
Very very good background to the stories
3) Detective Xeno and the Seven Locked Murder Rooms
An odd choice, but I'm really into it these days. Cool ass meta-narrative too
4) Tantei Gakuen Q
Really fun, loved the journey
5) Kindaichi (All)
I think it's always really clever, but they're .... just..... so.....long
On reflection, 37 year old Kindaichi is probably my fave, which surprises me
6) The legendary musings of professor munkata
I like CMB a ton more, but the anthropology is crunchier here
7) Detective Conan
I don't even read it.... I've tried multiple times. The weird thing is that I love Magac Kaito, so I know the Mangaka can be fun

Honorable Mention:
I still find Death Note fun to think about. Over time I'm more and more impressed with L. Obv not a mystery, but very fun logically.

I once met a girl who said she was really into anime. She wasn't wrong, but it turned out that what she meant was that she was watching ALL of the Detective Conan episodes. I think she was on like 550 out of 800. I can't say I really understand, but I respect the commitment all the same

Secondhand embarrassment from someone that has reread all of Steinbeck's books multiple times, and _all_ of Hajime no Ippo at least 7 times.

I kind of wish I owned both, just for a 5 shelf bookshelf to be covered with just two "things".

Ten Thirteen favorite of the manga i'm currently reading, excluding isekai because that probably needs its own top ten im reading so many, and most of them are trash but fun trash.

1. Niehime to Kemono no Ou - I've shilled this in the thread already
2. Tsuki ga Kirei Desu ne - My favorite artist, I would read almost anything they make ever and this one is sugar sweet. I like things that are sweet.
3. Hino-san no Baka Literally just shilled this
4. Taimashi to Akuma-chan I think I shilled most of my favorites bear with me
5. Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san Nagatoro has lost some of her fangs over the years but remains great.
6. Aharen-san wa Hakarenai A cute comedy about people that look like this: :-I
7. Futaribeya How far can we stretch the boundary of yuri bait? I guess it doesn't matter because we're comfy as fuck
8. Bocchi Kaibutsu to Moumoku Shoujo Yuri, monster girl, tragedy, drama, angst, but also cute. Have I shilled this? Most likely.
9. Bright and Cheery Amnesia I literally shilled it the third post in the thread. This is much less interesting of a list than I thought because I've posted half of it before I'm very sorry
10. Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! Uzaki is like Nagatoro for cowards. Fortunately for everyone, thats really good! Uzaki seems to have lets plays on youtube now actually, which is neat.
11. Sekai de Ichiban Oppai ga Suki! Its about boobs and groping them. That means probably dont read it at work but it's cute. Obviously.
12. Shiota-sensei to Amai-chan A girl falls in love with her slob of a teacher. Josei is fun sometimes!
13. Senryuu Shoujo The anime is airing right now! You should read the manga instead though, as the anime lost like 80% of the artist's style. I dont hold it against them but its also not optimal.

I hope you enjoyed my reposting of things, I will likely repost them again in the future if they continue to be good because this thread doesn't get bumped enough for me to remember everything I've shilled.
