You should open every box in The Dust.
After all, what's in the box

It's your turn in Squirrel Wars
It's your turn in Demon Wars
It's your turn in Wall Street Wars

This can sometimes be a problem for me. It's less of an issue in a group because you are talking and kind of skip some boxes accidentally.

Yeah when I played originally my friends always just ran ahead and I had to catch up so there was no time to press all the green things.

I kind of enjoy smashing all of the things, it just makes the game take a million times longer. I've had this same issue in other button mashers and FPSs before as well.

Atlas is back as a gunmaker in BL3, and there's a new manufacturer, "Cov." Bandit is out, which is not surprising

Apparently Cov guns do not use ammo, but instead they overheat if you fire them for too long consecutively

Since my brother didn't want to play games last night, I started a character in Pre-Sequel. The first big boss fight against Dropdead or whatever his name was is really frustrating? It took me like 5 tries to figure out the mechanics of the fight because he's fucking jumping around so much you barely get to interact with him. You're chasing this tiny asshole with no model highlighting or way to distinguish him from the other mobs across a HUGE room with jump pads and he shoots tracking things at you from wherever he is at the time. So you spend like 5 minutes shooting tracking things trying to FIND HIM before you can even try to work out his fight pattern. What a poorly designed fight!

Hopefully the rest of pre-sequel is not this frustrating.

The story is interesting so far.

I noticed his outfit looked like a fascist dictator, I didn't specifically notice it was M Bison.

I almost picked the Claptrap but I figured that had to be a joke character and not appropriate for a first playthrough.

I figured with Athena being the narrator she made the most sense, story wise.

Well so for all the characters in Pre-Sequel, they all kinda have the green tree being easier to use, and the red tree being harder to use. This is a lesson that they learned from Gaige and Krieg in BL2 -- it worked well for them, but in BLPS it's even better I think

Claptrap's action skill yields a semi-random result no matter what skill tree you're using, making him hilarious. But yeah that's a little challenging, right

His red tree adds even more randomness

So last night Chris, Bob and I got our three characters all to the same spot, which is right after we get to Sanctuary and do the little sidequests of talking to people in Sanctuary. So we're all like level 10 I think? 10-11ish.

Bob and I both had missing quests before that, so we went back and basically played through the entire thing again.

So now we're all in the same place, if either of you want to play forward with us etc.

Not sure what our schedule will look like but anytime you see us on either just join our party or message me or whatever. I'll try to update you guys as we move forward too. We usually play 2-3 times a week.

Though I kinda want to play Destiny 2 to get this new exotic fusion rifle, so I may do that a little. I may be on more than usual for a bit with the new baby coming, but it may be earlier in the evening and I might be quitting earlier too? I have no idea how this will play out.

Borderlands is not really a super twitchy shooter. It's more about the shit you pick up than it is precision aiming. It doesn't seem like BL would really be improved by playing on PC.

While it might be a marginal improvement, the loss of the social aspect seems like it would result in a net loss.
