Hey Doug in your experience playing this format how much does the hidden aspect of the hidden identities matter? do they tend to stay hidden for long or do people basically work it out from the get go

What can we assume about Minotaur society from Tahngrath?
I'm getting a lot of options here:
* Sexy lady minotaur president
* Tahngrath gets first choice of mates
* Twee boy/boy minotaur love at the highest ecelons of government
* Polyamorous President with "First Mate" as either a temporal or importance signifier
* Minotaur Chess Tournament
* Tahngrath is actually a 4/4 Red Dragon token with flying

It's kinda, some games everybody can tell right away, and it gets figured out like an avalanche, but then other games people are actually good at tricking people who they are. The former seems more common than the latter

Even the players that are on your team count as 'your opponents' thanks to the hidden alignment free-for-all nature of the format right?

Re: Throne Magic Archival Repost
i suspect getting the numbers to playtest this might be a little out of reach, but your enthusiasm continues to be appreciated
Re: Throne Magic Archival Repost
i have another interested party for this so in theory we'd only need 2 more and we could play

I like how "party" is a word that means "individual person" in some contexts
wow, [you]. that all sounds terrible. i hope it gets better for you
Re: Throne Magic Archival Repost
jokes on you my interested party is a LLC with three representatives who will all be assisting in piloting the one deck
Re: Throne Magic Archival Repost
That's because it comes from the Old French partie, which means a section rather than meaning a group

Re: Throne Magic Archival Repost
We were talking about best in slot words before, party is definitely garbage tier, right down there with fête. Fiesta is S tier.
