free is actually next level terrible if you want it to play something specificCrunchums wrote:maybe the free mobile app is different from the paid one, though i thought the only difference was ads
my bet would be 1) you were playing some sort of "similar songs radio" thing that the search turned up instead of the actual album 2) you need to turn off that setting (or else once the album is over it will start playing some sort of "similar songs radio" thing)
on pc ublock actually stops their ads and ad songs and for whatever reason you can play a song specifically so, kind of great, but now it just sort of doesn't work. you usually just get stuck on one second of a song playing and then it skipping to the next song. if you do get a song that plays then it will only play for nine seconds. they'd much prefer you to use their desktop "app" version, or maybe just mobile entirely since you cant even look at your year end wrap stuff outside of it nowCrunchums wrote:ah ok so it is just different unless you pay them money. on mobile specifically, or on PC too? because I remember using spotify before i started paying money and it was not like that, but maybe they've changed it
also I feel like "Mobile Experience Bad" is a pretty evergreen headline
