that's good but a trial for flopping seems a bit much. in-game penalties are fine

it's neat that i actually know the quarterbacks / teams responsible for some of those archetypes. not that i watch keep up with football but America's Game is an excellent series.

i also like the idea of, like, you need a team that's going to win the big one, obviously, but you also need a team that can beat the two jank guys at your local fnm matches.

it was mentioned in the video but it seems very true that his size is what makes this shuffle work so well

fadeaway jumpers always seem like a really huge tradeoff, takes away any real chance the defender blocks it, but makes the shot much worse because you're in motion in the opposite direction from the basket and often with some random component, not directly away

the shuffle looks so minor in that regard, he's barely backing away at all, so there's not much drawback, but then he's so huge that it's still unblockable. being huge seems to 1) make it so the defender has to respond to a smaller forward motion to set it up and 2) make it so only a small backwards motion is necessary to make it essentially unblockable against a defender that responded to 1 at all

fadeaways take so much strength. the other day when i was shooting i tried to do the pivot->fadeaway move that jamal murray often does https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mU7QUQnIgc4 (this video has weeb music for some reason? weird) and it was like comical how hard it was just to get the ball to the rim
(iirc you are not into athletic things, but just shooting a basketball is a lot of fun! i've been enjoying working on my shooting form this year)
