are you using some kind of password manager or password autofill thing? do you have weird extensions?

no extensions on mobile, but I do let firefox remember my password and autofill it, yes

observations:

• for me the session seems to last a couple of hours at most (on mobile Chrome + Android)
• my desktop session (Chrome on both Win and Mac) seems to last for months
• I logged in with mobile Firefox yesterday and that session is still active now. this is different from Chrome
• I saw the same autofilled-password-in-plaintext-on-the-login-button behavior in Firefox that Ashenai did
• Having "Remember Me" checked by default makes a universe of difference. thanks, rylinks

it really seems like it gets into a "bad state" (since it appears to happen on different mobile browsers, some of the time, but for a long time when it happens). I did try clearing my cookies/local storage last time with no luck, though, so I'm not sure what state that could be.

i wonder how we solve this

like i can make another forum, and then we can have you sign into that, and then see if you just stay signed in. then we'll know it's us for sure

edit but it's not like it could be a broken script or anything ... i think. like somehow javascript would be signing you out? maybe? i'm gonna have to hook up phone stuff so i can see the cookie
